Make It Monday: Heat Embossing

This week's Make It Monday challenge from Papertrey Ink is heat embossing.  Here's my take on this challenge:

I decided to make a card for my dad.  His birthday was in March, but we will be celebrating it this weekend when he comes in town for a visit.  (Don't tell him that I hadn't made his card yet!)

I used Masculine Motifs stamp set and heat embossed the green leaf images and the tree scene in the center of the card.

The center panel is adhered with foam dimensionals to give a little depth and interest.  The inks I used are Evergreen by Colorbox, Versamark, and Tea Dye duo by Papertrey.

I used Pinefeather, Fine Linen and Rustic Cream cardstock as well, all by Papertrey.  The die shape in the center of the card is Mat Stack 1, also from Papertrey.

Thanks for stopping by and, as always, your comments are very much appreciated!!

Lauren
